DATE CHANGED: Mechanics' Liens Class

November Class:

Lien on Me:
Mechanics' Liens Basics*
Monday, November 10th

12:00 - 1:00 pm
Ronald Noya, Esq.

Learn the "what, who, how and when" of mechanics' liens. This class will provide basic information to ugide project owners, as well as laborers/suppliers engaged in construction projects. Everyone wants to be paid for the work they perform and the party paying wants to be sure they get what they are paying for. Mechanics' lien law is a statutory scheme designed to address these issues. Whether you are an attorney representing a client or are considering a construction project on your own, you should be familiar with the basics to be reviewed in this one hour class.

About the speaker: Ronald Noya, Esq. is a 1977 Georgetown Law graduate who specializes in commercial litigation. Mr. Noya's clients have included regional apartment and custom home builders who required assistance from land acquisition through final construction and occupancy. Currently he represents several investment groups engaged in condominium conversions.

The classes are free to Law Library members and $5 for non-members. Pre-registration is required, as seating is limited. Please sign up for this class by calling (619) 531-3900. Participants may bring lunch.

All classes are held at the Main Branch, unless otherwise stated. For a complete description of the classes and the most up-to-date information, visit SDCPLL's Calendar of Events.

*MCLE Credit is available for this class.
The San Diego County Public Law Library is a
