The Reading Room at the renovated downtown Law Library will soon have natural lighting. Construction workers have been cutting windows into the black granite walls of the first floor Reading Room and the new third floor training room. During the windows installation, a temporary walkway for pedestrians has been set up in front of the Law Library on Front Street. Did you know you can renew online the books you've checked out of the law library? Here's how:

1. Go to www.sdcpll.org and click on "Renew Items."
2. Log in to your account by typing in your name and the last 6 digits of your Library barcode, found on the back of your library member card.
3. Click the "Renew All" button to renew all items you have checked out.
4. If you want to renew only select items, click the check boxes in the left column labeled "Renew" next to the items you wish to renew. Then, click the "Renew Selected" button.
5. Check the status column to confirm your renewal.
