Class on U.S. Housing Crisis drew over 100 attendees

House for saleOver 100 San Diego residents attended the U.S. Housing Crisis: Options for California Homeowners class held on May 12, 2011. Gary Laturno, President and General Counsel of Laturno Kuick Realty, discussed the options homeowners have when they owe more than the value of their home. The class was held at the Central Branch of the San Diego City Library and was USTREAMED LiVE for the first time. If you miss it, you can catch it at the 4S Branch of the San Diego County Library on June 8 at 6pm.

Open House at East County Branch

 The Law Library is holding an OPEN HOUSE at the East County Branch on Wednesday, May 25. Everyone is welcome to attend. There will be hourly tours of the library and demonstrations of electronic legal databases. These include Lexis, Westlaw, and CEB OnLaw. Guests will have a chance to enter contests and win prizes. Free refreshments will be served.

Starting on June 1st, the Law Library at 1168 Union Street in Downtown will be open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

SDLL closed on Memorial Day

Flags on memorial day

The Law Library will be closed at all locations on Monday, May 30th, in observance of Memorial Day. Regular library hours will resume on Tuesday, May 31st.
