Keeping Current With Journals

Sometimes the timeliest, most up-to-date information about a subject is through
journal and law review articles. The Law Library has several ways for patrons
to search and retrieve these helpful resources. LegalTrac and HeinOnline are two
of the best and easiest ways to get to these articles. This class will de-mystify
the differences between the two and how to make the best use of these resources.

Parking Tips
While there is free parking available at the East County, North County and
South Bay branches, patrons visiting the Main Law Library will have to either
park at a meter or at one of the commercial parking lots, if you do not take the
trolley or bus. During the week, flat rate parking is recommended instead of relying
on metered parking. On Saturdays, one parking lot charges $2 for all day parking*.
This lot is at the corner of Front & Beech St. (Central Parking System). Two
additional lots (ACE Parking), located on the NW and SW corners of Columbia &
A, charge $3 for all day Saturday parking*. Call the Law
Library for more information.
* The Law Library is not affiliated with these companies, and cannot guarantee
these rates. Staff & patrons have noted that these rates were still current
as of October 7, 2005, however, you should verify this information prior to parking.
